This document is being finalized. Company details marked “to be completed” will be added before launch.

This Privacy Policy explains how AeroVor (“AeroVor”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or join the AeroVor waitlist, and the rights you have over that information.

AeroVor is in development. At this stage the website only presents the company and collects waitlist sign-ups. When we launch products, they will come with their own privacy terms.

  • We use them to send you updates about AeroVor, early access and pilot programs.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
  • You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information at any time.

2. What we collect and why

2.1 When you join the waitlist

We collect the name and work email you enter, which of the two forms on the page you used, and the date and time of your sign-up. Our form provider also processes technical information needed to deliver the submission and filter spam, such as your IP address and browser details.

We use this information to manage the waitlist and to send you updates about AeroVor, early access and opportunities to take part in pilot programs. Joining is voluntary; without an email address we cannot add you to the list.

Legal basis (EEA, UK and Switzerland): your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time; and our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam and abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2.2 When you visit the website

Like any website, your browser sends technical information when it loads our pages: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. Our hosting provider processes this information to deliver the website, keep it secure and protect it against attacks and abuse. We do not use it to identify you or to build profiles.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2.3 When you contact us

If you email us, we process your email address, your name and anything you include in your message to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).

2.4 Legal obligations and claims

We may process information where necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and our fonts and images are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies. Details are in our Cookie Notice.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, to authorities when required by law, or to a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganization, in which case we will inform you.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. International transfers

We and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. When we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension and Swiss counterpart) where the recipient is certified, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

6. How long we keep information

7. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us.

7.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have the right to access your information, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before. You can always object to direct marketing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live or work. You can find yours in the list of EU authorities; in the UK, it is the Information Commissioner’s Office. We reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex requests.

7.2 United States

If you live in California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah or Virginia), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct and delete it, to receive a portable copy, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising and profiling. We do not engage in any of those activities, and we treat Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Notice at collection. In the last 12 months we have collected:

We use these categories for the purposes in section 2, disclose them only to the service providers in section 4, keep them as described in section 6, and do not collect sensitive personal information. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; if you remain unsatisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.

7.3 Other countries

Data protection laws in many other countries, including Canada (PIPEDA), Brazil (LGPD), Colombia (Law 1581 of 2012), Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Japan, Singapore and India, give you similar rights. We honor requests made under the law that applies to you, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7.4 How to exercise your rights

Email us at legal@aerovor.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Requests are free of charge unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

8. Children

Our website and waitlist are intended for aviation professionals and organizations. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and established service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.

Our website may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AeroVor develops. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify people on the waitlist by email.
